Lead has been commonly used for thousands of years because it is widespread, easy to extract and easy to work with. Lead is one of the most widely used metals and over 60% of all lead produced is used in lead-acid batteries for the storage of energy. Other uses include lead foil, plumbing, solder, sound proofing, ammunition, addition to glass to block harmful radiation from television and computer screens and as an ultraviolet ray protector in PVC plastics.
Zinc is a bluish-white lustrous metal that is brittle at room temperature, it widely used for galvanising steel to protect it from rust, the zinc compounds and dusts are used in cosmetics, plastics, rubber, ointments, sun screen creams, fertilisers and batteries.

In lead and zinc concentrator, raw materials are first sent into primary crushing station via hopper. It can make extra efficient fragmentation by implementing suitable crushing system according to the mechanical strength characteristics of lead and zinc mine. Inside the primary crushing station, lead and zinc crusher is usually jaw crusher or gyratory crusher with high capacity and huge input-size.
After meeting the expected fineness, they're sent into sag mill by belt conveyor for additional pulverization. Ball mill is extensively used as lead and zinc mill inside the Lead and Zinc Concentrator.
